PREFACE
Dear colleagues and friends,
Ladies and gentlemen,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the EUGOGO Teaching Course, taking place from March 7–8, 2026, at the Deichmann Auditorium, the Education and Learning Center of the Medical Faculty, University Duisburg-Essen & University Medicine Essen, Germany.
This course is dedicated to the complex and challenging condition of thyroid eye disease (TED). Our goal is to provide participants with up-to-date, structured education on the diagnosis and management of TED - emphasizing practical relevance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the latest scientific evidence.
A unique strength of this course is the active involvement of numerous members of EUGOGO (European Group on Graves’ Orbitopathy).Experts from both ophthalmology and endocrinology will be teaching, reflecting the collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that is essential for high-quality patient care in TED.
In addition to presenting the latest clinical data and research fi ndings, the course prioritizes interactive and case-based learning. A special highlight will be the Patient Case Sessions on Sunday morning, March 8, where small groups will discuss real-life cases alongside TED patients who will be present on site. Furthermore, breakout sessions will allow participants to tailor their learning experience to their individual level of knowledge and area of speciality—whether they are newcomers or experienced professionals.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all speakers and sponsors who have made this course possible. To all participants, we wish an engaging and enriching learning experience, with valuable insights for your daily practice and meaningful discussions with colleagues from across Europe.
Warm regards,
